Neko Army Today

Neko Army spells are currently locked. (Locked spells usually require some combination of exploration and obelisk magic to unlock them.) Until they are unlocked, there is not an official way to join the Neko Army.

However, you can join the Neko Army as a private through the use of staff magic. To do this:

  1. Become a recognised citizen of a kingdom (a resident, Canteener, or guard) by being smiled upon. This gives you access to the staff magic spells you will need.

  2. If you see a very clear instance of bullying or hatred (extreme bullying with real malice, not just a fight or argument or being laughed at) cast the Grumble spell on them. You can cast the Grumble spell privately, in PM with the ruler of the domain, if you wish to be undercover. Nobody knows about grumbles other than the administrators. Cast Grumble with an explanation, like this:

    • [Grumbles about BullysName] they have been doing XYZ to try to harm VictimsName

    • The Canteen can be an unfriendly place at times. Grumbling the incessant arguments there will be deemed unhelpful and lower your staff action score. Wait until you see something that is clearly malicious. Likewise, the Gatelands is a roleplay arena and is naturally full of drama. Only real maliciousness should be grumbled.

  3. If your Grumble is deemed useful, your staff action score will go up, and the target of your spell may possibly be banned.

  4. Those who perform admirably may be approached for further anti-bullying tasks.

Neko Army

Neko Army is a coalition of everyone who wants to fight bullying. This is a real commitment to spend 20 minutes every week with your squad:

  • protecting victims

  • fighting bullies

  • learning techniques of creating a world where bullies are powerless

  • getting familiar with your teammates and having fun on missions

  • learning firsthand about your own self and others

What's in a squad?

The nature of each squad depends upon the squad leader. Some may be very casual, merely meeting for training and occasionally helping out when bullying occurs, whereas others may schedule lookouts and conduct active missions.

Squads have communication magic to stay in touch and to call in help when a problem is noticed.

How to Join?

Why the "Neko" Army?

"Neko" refers to the Army's dedication to protecting all those who are vulnerable, whatever species they may be. No, the army isn't composed of catboys and catgirls.
