To check your status, message Neko's Gate the letter 'y' (short for 'examine yourself').

Some attributes you can easily discover this way:

• Injury — If you become too injured, you perish and lose your ability to speak.

• Tiredness — Becoming too tired will prevent you from performing some actions and spells.

• Hunger — Hunger seems to make you weaker. Use food magic, or find food, to fix your hunger. Being force-fed too much can injure you.

The letter 'm' will measure your mote armour. This does not work in all locations.
